There is an annual license fee for the Friendly WiFi certification.To become eligible to use the Friendly WiFi 'Approved' symbol, applicants must provide evidence of filtering the following categories.

We send you an online test to check for active filters to block the following:
 

• The IWF (Internet Watch Foundation) list

• Pornography

• The Counter-Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU) list

Please note: the majority of recommended filtering solutions meet the above requirements. We can also work with you to help identify if the above requirements are included in your WiFi service plus also assist with solutions.​​
