What the symbol means
Look for the Friendly WiFi Approved symbol
When you see the Friendly WiFi Approved symbol, it means the organisation's public or guest WiFi has been independently checked and certified against the Friendly WiFi standard.
It provides a simple, recognisable indication that appropriate filtering is in place to help prevent access to harmful and illegal online content.
Filtering provides the protection. Friendly WiFi provides the independent assurance.
